What Does This Channel Feel Like?
The Channel of Money connects the Heart Center (also called the Will or Ego Center) to the Throat Center, creating a direct link between willpower and the voice of material leadership. When this channel is defined, you carry a consistent energy for managing resources, establishing material control, and directing the flow of money and goods within your tribe or community. This is the channel of the CEO, the business owner, the person who says 'I have the resources, and here is how we are going to use them.' The energy is forceful, directed, and willful, with a natural authority over material matters.
The Two Gates
Gate 21 — Heart (Will/Ego)
Gate 21, the Gate of the Hunter/Huntress, sits in the Heart Center and carries the willpower to control material resources. This is the energy of the provider who goes out, acquires what is needed, and controls how it is distributed. Gate 21 does not like being controlled by others when it comes to material matters. It needs to be in charge of its own resources and, often, the resources of its family or organization. This is not greed. It is a survival drive to ensure that material needs are met through competent management.
Gate 45 — Throat
Gate 45, the Gate of the Gatherer, sits in the Throat Center and provides the voice of material leadership. This gate speaks as the king or queen of the tribe, saying 'I have' and directing resources accordingly. Gate 45 gathers people and resources, creating a community centered around material security and shared abundance. It is the energy of the person who builds the business, establishes the household, or creates the organization that provides for its members.
How This Channel Shows Up in Daily Life
Living with the Channel of Money means your life is significantly oriented around material resources and the management of them. This does not mean you are materialistic. It means you carry a natural authority and drive around financial and material matters that others recognize and rely upon. Your life theme involves building, managing, and distributing resources in a way that serves your community. You may find that money flows toward you when you step into your natural role as a resource manager, and away from you when you try to ignore or downplay this aspect of your design. Owning your material authority is key.
In Relationships: Electromagnetic Attraction
When one person has Gate 21 and the other has Gate 45, the electromagnetic attraction creates a powerful material partnership. The Gate 21 partner brings the willpower to acquire and control resources. The Gate 45 partner brings the voice to organize and distribute them. Together, they can build significant material structures: businesses, households, investments. The challenge is that both gates carry authority, and power struggles over who controls what can arise. Clear agreements about material roles and responsibilities prevent the willpower from becoming a source of conflict.
